2. Course Quality Standards
Video Quality • Minimum resolution: 720p, recommended 1080p • Clear audio with minimal background noise • Good lighting and stable camera • Use slides, screen recordings, or demonstrations when needed
Teaching Style Your teaching should be clear, organized, beginner-friendly, engaging, and focused on real-world application.
Structure Courses must have: • A clear learning goal • Modules broken into well-organized lessons • Quizzes or assignments (recommended) • A final summary or conclusion
Minimum Requirements • Minimum 30 minutes of content • At least 5 lessons • Original content only • Accurate course descriptions and titles
3. How to Create a Course
Step 1 — Log In Log in to your instructor account at Joche Academy.
Step 2 — Go to Your Instructor Dashboard On the top right menu, click Instructor Dashboard → Courses, then click Add New Course.
Step 3 — Add Course Title Choose a clear, student-friendly title. Examples: Professional Writing for Beginners, Digital Marketing Essentials, Data Analytics with Excel, Communication Skills for the Workplace.
Step 4 — Write the Course Description Your description must include: • What students will learn • Who the course is for • Requirements (if any) • Why the course is valuable • Real-world applications
Step 5 — Set Course Categories & Tags Choose accurate categories so students can find your course easily. Examples: Communication Skills, IT & Cloud, HR & Workplace Culture, AI & Data.
4. Creating Course Content
Adding Lessons Each lesson should be: • Short (3 to 10 minutes preferred) • Focused on one specific topic • Practical, with examples
You can add video lessons, text-based lessons, PDFs, audio lessons, and slides.
Uploading Videos Supported formats: MP4, MOV, AVI. For large videos, compress using tools like HandBrake.
Adding Quizzes Quizzes increase student engagement. You can add multiple choice, true/false, or short answer questions. At least one quiz is recommended per course.

6. Course Images & Branding
Your course needs a professional-looking thumbnail. • Size: 1280 x 720 pixels • Clear title with readable text • High-quality image (no blurry or copyrighted images)

7. Publishing Your Course
Step 1 — Submit for Review Our team will check quality, verify originality, ensure correct structure, and confirm compliance with platform standards.
Step 2 — Fix Any Requested Changes If our team requests adjustments, make the edits and resubmit.
Step 3 — Course Approval Once approved, your course will go live on Joche Academy.
8. Pricing, Payments & Revenue
Course Pricing Instructors can set their own price or choose a recommended price. • Basic Courses: ₦1,000 – ₦5,000 • Standard Courses: ₦5,000 – ₦50,000 • Professional Courses: From ₦50,000
Revenue Share: Instructors receive 80%. Joche Academy receives 20% to support platform hosting, marketing, and maintenance.
Payment Schedule: Instructors are paid monthly via bank transfer, PayPal, or other supported methods. A minimum payout threshold may apply.
Refund Policy: Refunds may be granted if the student has not started the course, the request is within the refund window, or a verified technical issue prevents access. If a refund is granted, the payment for that course will be deducted from the instructor's earnings. Full details are available in our Terms and Conditions.
9. Marketing & Promotion
We don't just host your course — we help you sell it. Joche Academy actively promotes instructor courses through advertising, social media, email marketing, and featured placements on our platform. Your success is our success.
10. Updating Your Course
To keep your course active and relevant: • Update content every 6 to 12 months • Add new lessons when the industry changes • Respond to student questions • Fix outdated or incorrect lessons
